Senior Houdini Artist , Unreal and Unity Technical Artist

An AR experience for the promotion of HBO’s Watchmen.

The geometry was prepared in Houdini, rebuilding it and baking data to be used in shaders for control in Unity.

Each layer of the effect had to be setup with different methods for optimization, like ribbons for the circulatory system or sub fracturing for the skin.

The simulation is a mix of a timer map made in Houdini to trigger and sync all the elements properly, and compute shaders in Unity to simulate forces for each pieces without the need of going back to Houdini.
